FAQS
What’s the difference between stickers and labels?
Stickers are usually designed for branding, giveaways, and decorative use. They often have a thicker material, are individually cut (die-cut), and meant to be handed out or sold.
Labels are made for packaging and product use. They typically come on rolls or sheets, are easier to apply in bulk, and may use specific adhesives for bottles, jars, or bags.
If you're not sure which you need, we can help you decide based on how you’ll use them.
What materials are our labels made from?
Our standard label materials are BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) and vinyl, both durable options that are waterproof, scratch-resistant, and long-lasting.
We can also produce labels on specialty materials such as paper, clear, holographic, prism, or foil finishes. These specialty options aren’t available for online ordering yet, but you can call or email us for a custom quote.
Can you make perforated labels?
Yes! We offer perforated labels. They’re not available for instant purchase on the website, but you can call 650-780-9747 or email art@stickerfarmer.com for a custom quote.
Can I get help designing my labels?
Yes! Our design team can assist with file setup, resizing, or even creating your label artwork from scratch.
Do you send a proof before printing?
Yes. We send a digital proof for every order so you can confirm the size, cut, layout, and colors before printing begins.
Our online designer software provides an instant digital proof that you approve at checkout, no waiting.
After that, a real person reviews every order to make sure your file looks correct for production. If something seems off, we’ll reach out before mass printing to confirm adjustments. If you include special instructions in your order notes, we’ll also send a manual proof for review before we start.
